Artwork Requirements for Engraving and Personalization
Clear, high-quality artwork helps Award Masters produce accurate engraving and full-color personalization. Vector artwork is preferred for most logos and line art, but the team can review other files and explain whether cleanup or conversion is needed.
Preferred artwork files
- Vector files: AI, EPS, SVG or print-ready PDF files with fonts converted to outlines are generally preferred for logos and line art.
- Raster images: High-resolution PNG, TIFF or JPEG files may work for photographs or full-color printing. Send the largest, clearest original available rather than a screenshot or image copied from a website.
- Text and name lists: Send names, titles and other variable information in a clearly organized Word or Excel file when possible.
Prepare the file before sending it
- Check all names, dates, titles and spelling.
- Identify the product, quantity and desired personalization location.
- Include brand-color references when color matching matters.
- Do not enlarge a small or blurry image and assume it has become high resolution.
- Include the event date and whether local pickup or shipping is required.
Artwork review and proofing
Award Masters will review the submitted file for the selected product and production method. Artwork cleanup, conversion or setup may be required for some projects. Any applicable charge should be confirmed before work begins. Proofing depends on the item and project; customers remain responsible for checking names, dates, spelling, quantities and layout information before approval.
